On you other point, your delusional. What this means is that a core group of about 40-50 wackos and bigots is holding the House hostage in an endless temper tantrum. Newsflash: governing requires compromise. The Tea Party style zero compromise doesent work. This freakshow is an example of why the GOP is increasingly seen as out of touch. Yeah ok, you control a bunch of states where nobody lives. Big f0cking deal. It's easy to win an election in a state where 90%+ of the population are old White people stuck in the 1950s and the biggest city is smaller than my Long Island hamlet.
People like you are the problem with the party, if you even are a voting Republican.

If you are don't let it hit you on the way out, Buh-bye.

They might, but I have to ask why would they? The establishment R's are the vast majority. They don't have enough votes to elect their guy, but the 40 conservatives certainly don't either. Appeasement is not likely on the minds of the establishment money right now with things going badly for their pawns in the presidential race as well as in the House. If anything, this is a call to arms. It is time to get serious about purging the influence of the extreme right. It won't be easy. Decades of divisive messaging from the Republicans has hardened the right to the point where compromise seems impossible.

Ok cool, enjoy being a permanent opposition party. Id rather that we govern via compromise and moderation and get 70% of what we want instead of always obstructing and achieving NOTHING.

To be Clear, Long Island has a population of 8 million, and what they define as a Hamlet would be larger than all but the top 30 most populous cities in the U.S.

There are only 4 states in the entire country that have 90% white populations.

Maine(Republicans Gov and Senate, Dem House) ,Vermont(All 3 Dem), West Virginia(Dem gov, Republican house and senate), and New Hampshire(Dem Gov, Republican House and senate).

The party needs a much more dynamic leader. Not taking anything away from Webster.

It's not like Obama can work with anyone besides worshippers.

Why not put some real opposition in?

The Dems don't compromise, you will get 0 of what you actually want and the Dems will get everything. Actually the Establishment R's already give everything to the Dems.
