Of course the AGW alarmists have been sounding the alarm over the danger and calamity that a mildly warmer Earth would face, when in fact the result would be more arid, farmable land around the world, especially in places like the Sahara, resulting in more jobs and an increased food supply.
A mildly warming Earth is exactly the scenario that humans have thrived in since the last ice age some 12-20 thousand years ago. It is another ice age that we should fear, or even significantly colder temperatures that ADVANCE the ice and the glaciers, and that reduce the amount of farmable land and the length of growing seasons.
These people have been misleading us right from the jump. And clearly we have several of the AGW alarmism Kool-aid drinkers posting here in this thread.
The chosen DemiGod fixed global warming by talking about it just as he made the world a peaceful place by saying he was going to stop having troops in Afghan, creating the need of the Nobel committee to give him a 'Nobel Peace Prize' (though why are our troops still in Afghan????). Probably his stopping of Global Warming caused the end of drought and never ending sunshine....more Nobel Prizes please.
On the other hand, Global Warming has created a larger food supply. Global Cooling is what concerns me.

The study shows that the West African Sahel – part of the semiarid strip just south of the Sahara desert, which spans the African continent from the Atlantic Ocean to the Red Sea – has been steadily “regreening” since the severe droughts of the 1970s and 1980s which killed more than 100,000 people.
Among the reasons for the “regreening” are increased rainfall, the beneficial effects of increased atmospheric CO2 on plant growth and the ingenuity of farmers (“community-led conservation efforts) in this harsh, marginal region.
Now didn't the liberals want to cover the deserts with reflective material and flood the atmosphere with Sulpher dioxide to "combat" global warming?
The global warming crowd are eco-terrorists whose efforts to "combat" a non-existant problem could have terrible consequences to the environment.
I am an environmentalist and fully support clean air, land and water measures. But this "CO2 as a pollutant" is just insane. We call CO2 PLANT FOOD.
So....warmers predict both drought and rain, just as they say their models predict warm weather and cold weather.
I predict they're charlatans.
It is called climate change, right?....Nobody ever said that it would effect the entire globe equally...Some places will benefit, but most places will not....
How is this bad news? It was expected and was first noticed in photos taken between 1982 and 2002. It was predicted by climate models long ago.....Heat causes more evaporation and warmer air holds more moisture causing more rain.....
Bad news for alarmists, good news for everyone else. Alarmists can't increase government control if climate is improving. They need disasters to support their Big Government agenda.

That's because AGW is just a side issue. The agenda is increased government control over our lives and increased government power. The Big Government control freaks need things like AGW to justify their power grab.

Are we going to put special taxes on them due to the benefits they are seeing from other's CO2 production?
Except what was said by the OP is the exact opposite said by the man-made global warming alarmists. Africa, and the entire world, is supposed to be worse off. We should all be dying of hunger from droughts, while dying from floods and hurricanes at the same time.
