And yes bob I read your article, it says that only those that are legal to vote or opt out....blah blah blah....
How are you going to know the difference....
The bigger problem with this is not the illegal aliens themselves. Realistically, even the ones with drivers licenses are going to want to stay away from voting and endangering their ability to work. The problem will be the people who know that these illegal aliens will never set foot near a polling place or a county auditor's office. That makes those illegal aliens perfect targets for impostor voter fraud via absentee ballot.
If people can't take there citizenship serious on their own, we don't WANT them to vote.
There is nothing worse then a person voting who hasn't a clue about the issues.
Exactly right. If people had taken the right to vote seriously, Obama never would have been elected. But they flocked to the polls to elect the "first black President," even though he is dumb as a rock! Oh, yeah, he has an education ... but he's still dumb as a rock! Nobody cared what he believed, that he had been a member of a Marxist club at Occidental that advocated the overthrow of the U.S. government, or even that he attended the radical "Liberation Theologist" Jeremiah Wright's "church," and listened to anti-American preaching for 20 years. They didn't want to know about it.
No it shouldn't. How do they verify that someone is a legal citizen? Bad idea! We already have enough voter fraud, without making it easier.
The Democrats have done everything in their power to subvert the system to their benefit, including fighting voter I.D. requirements.
We need good id, and we need to remove criminals. IE people violating the law via illegal immigration. We dont need to disenfranchise people though. And all too often many of the voter id acts proposed have been more about disenfrachising people from voting, and less about only letting valid people vote. And thats the issue. Theres history of this nonsense.
I believe that voter id is reasonable if-we have free id-paid for by our government, and the requirements for receiving it are reasonable. IE birth certificate and a photo id, that sort of thing. Plus anyone born afterwards has their DNA, and other biometric information placed on file as well as a paternity test. Also paid for by the government.

As opposed to all those smart people who voted for Reagan because he "made them feel good about America" or for Bush II because he seemed like "a nice guy to have a beer with".
People have the right to vote for whoever they want, for whatever reason they want. If you trust in democracy, you will want everyone who is eligible to vote, because you trust that your ideas will win the majority. If you are trying to block people from voting, that means you have no faith in the soundness of your ideas.

LOL. sorry but no. They elected the better person with all the information available at the time. The "wisdom of crowds" is actually pretty good. Your guy just sucked.
You're making excuses. Now...get someone decent and you might have a shot this next time around. I'm not seeing it yet, but we're still a long ways away. Good luck, because our country needs good choices for our leadership.
A favorite excuse by many on the right is to claim that thier opponent must have cheated in some way, somehow.
As for actual fraud...well theres the recent one where a republican group got charged for running a registration drive where they threw away the democratic registrations. But overall I'd say that .0001% or so. Not a huge number, but one we certainly want as close to 0 as possible.
