What we have here is the classic case of politicians lying lying lying in the primaries and a few honest souls taking a different road.
Ultimately we will wind up with the next president that will have said they oppose domestic spying, offshoring jobs, drone strikes, oil companies and much much more and then they'll flip 180 once the votes are counted. By then most voters are so emotionally invested they'll excuse all of this.
There are only two candidates that might get us out of the wars, Paul and Sanders. Where it comes to properly placing the blame it is only Paul willing to be honest.
That said, Paul blew his best chance when he didn't raise his hand with Trump. How can you call others idiots but then raise your hand that you would support them if they win?
He's irrelevant. Even Lindsey Graham is beating him now in some polls, I just noticed. He is like his dad. Knows he can't win but is trying to give his ideology a voice.

^ actually one of the reasons why I would not be too disappointed if somehow, by magic, Lindsey Graham got the nomination. I disagree with most of his positions on just about everything but by golly you know exactly where he is coming from.
In a post-9/11 world, non-interventionalism doesn't work. It sounds nice, but it's unrealistic.
What was your excuse before 9-11?
