Please show us how Obama added $3 trillion in two years? Please be specific. Surely, you can point to some legislation, right? Or did he just wave his hand and revenues dropped by $500 billion a year?

Deficit shrinks by $1 trillion in Obama era | MSNBC
oh please

what surpluses

Quote:
Clinton/newt never had any surpluses.....they had PROJECTED surpluses...but the country SPENT the surpluses...if you project a surplus, then spend more than that surplus... you have a deficit

budgets are best guesses...projections

ie you can say we EXPECT/PROJECT the revenue to be 2 trillion and EXPECT the spending to be 3 trillion...a 1 trillion PROJECTED deficit

or you can say we EXPECT/PROJECT the revenue to be 2 trillion and EXPECT the spending to be 2 trillion...a PROJECTED balanced budget

ie you can say we EXPECT/PROJECT the revenue to be 2.1 trillion and EXPECT the spending to be 1.9 trillion...a 200 billion PROJECTED surplus

and the end of the year all the pluses and minuses are counted.... you can have

ie you can say we EXPECT/PROJECT the revenue to be 2 trillion and the spending to be 3 trillion...a 1 trillion PROJECTED deficit...but revenue rose to 2.2 trillion and we only spent 2.8 trillion...still a deficit but instead of a 1 trillion deficit, now its a 600 billion deficit

you can project a surplus..and have emergencies show up (ie the Mississippi valley flooding...911... etc) and completely blow the surplus to where it becomes a deficit

sorry, but the PROJECTED surpluses of clinton/newt never happened...the debt never got paid, and the debt infact INCREASED

the simple fact is if there had been a surplus, then the debt would have gone down...it didn't

was the BUDGET balanced.....yes

was there a PROJECTED SURPLUS.....yes

was there an actual surplus , once all in's and out's were counted.....NO

here is the 4 years that they claim had a surplus
Fiscal
Year........ YearEnding.... ..National Debt........Annual budget Deficit

FY1998..... 09/30/1998.... $5.526193 trillion...... $113.05 billion
FY1999..... 09/30/1999.... $5.656270 trillion...... $130.08 billion
FY2000..... 09/29/2000.... $5.674178 trillion...... $17.91 billion
FY2001..... 09/28/2001.... $5.877463 trillion...... $133.29 billion

so endeth the myth of the Clinton surplus

a spent projected surplus is not a surplus

and obozo hasnt shrunk a deficit yet.. the only shrinkage is due to the rupublicans and the sequester

Surely I can show an increase of about $3 trillion in two years:

Historical Debt Outstanding - Annual 2000 - 2014

09/30/2012 $16,066,241,407,385.89
09/30/2011 $14,790,340,328,557.15
09/30/2010 $13,561,623,030,891.79
09/30/2009 $11,909,829,003,511.75

You didn't answer HOW. All you did is copy and past numbers. I ask again, HOW did Obama increase the debt? In other words, what did he do?

It's simple.

My wife and I have enjoyd a $50,000 INCOME over the past three yaes

In 2012 we spent $120,000 to live putting $70,000 on our 24% Chase credit card giving us a $70,000 deficit.

In 2013 we tightened our belts and spent $115,000 putting $65,000 on our 24% Chase credit card.

In 2014 we really, really tightened our belts spendin only $112,000 putting only $62,000 on our Chase credit card.

We had great victory in that we reduced pur deficit in each of the three years.

What could possobly go wrong?

You don't even understand the difference between debt and deficit.

THIS IS FROM YOUR OWN CITE:

I love the way 2009, according to MSNBC is entirely red... but okay.

See 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014? ALL higher than 2008 and all previous years.

The deficit may be going down, however the debt is still climbing. There is a huge difference between a slowing deficit, and a balanced budget.

...so put your pompoms down

EXACTLY!

These people believe the government magically makes money appear out of thin air. For every dollar they print there is an entity willing to take it and WE go one more dollar in debt. If countries stop trusting the dollar, this country will default, the value of printed money (USD) will go poof, goods and services will inflate beyond affordability, and there will be pain and suffering for the 99%.

...then

THEY'LL START A WAR

...and still blame Bush as their scapegoat, as if he forced them to do it! The funny thing is people buy the BS
