You didn't really make an argument against anything I said, first of all. The state is just another group of people and they don't have the right to do anything you or I can't do (unless someone consents to it by entering a mutual agreement beforehand...no "you consent by not moving" BS).
I like the things that modern society provides for the most part, so I'm glad to be born now rather than in the past. However, I think people need to move past the idea that controlling their neighbor's life by force will do anything but hinder the productivity of society and create division between us.
Well I'm sure your HOA is more interested in controlling your neighbor's life than the government as home values are precious.
My argument is that you agree to the rules where you live and it's always been that way. You're going to have a hard time overthrowing anything here, but Africa and Latin America are always ripe for the taking if you're clever enough.
Freedom is to wake up in the morning and have ZERO worries, no stress, little work, plenty of recreation, great food, and no fear of crime.
Being able to go anywhere in absent minded fashion and knowing quite well one is safe. No worries about where the money is coming to put food on the table or pay the mortgage.
