Democrats didn't purge them. Voters in the states that elected those people went for Republicans instead. 26 of them lost in 2010 alone.

In many districts, the people were always rather right wing. They voted for Democrats because they were union workers with good jobs and the unions endorsed Democrats. Now their jobs are gone and they vote based on social issues while scraping by on dead end near minimum wage jobs, assuming they work at all.

As for Joe Lieberman, He lost a primary for his senate seat because he started supporting the Bush Administration and republican policies that the democratic party didnt like. And still got 48% in the Primary vote. And endorsed McCain in 2008

What I find funny is that your definition of "Purge" only includes 2 people over a 10 year period, where Democrats could mention atleast 5 attempted purges from the last election cycle.

You're describing a purge. Basically there is no place in today's Democrat Party for anyone who isn't a left wing extremist.

A purge by what you are describing(you said the Party purged them, not republican voters in the general) is internal. That didnt happen, those Blue Dogs won their primaries and then lost in the general election.

That's a great example, Sestak ran despite the DNC and the entire leadership of PA Democratic Party and is currently experiencing one severe case of payback with the same leadership backing Katie McGinty for Senate in the primary.

Look, for these people up means down and down means sideways. Words no longer have any real meaning just whatever these folks want it to mean.

What have the "Progressives" given us, but regulation, debt, and less Liberty.
Yep left wingers alright gave us the TSA,DHS, The iraqi boondoggle called OPERATION FREEDOM!!!, Freedom Fries( remember that rather stupid saying), the patriot act, increased use of surveillance on American people all the while shouting down dissenters and branding them "UN-american" and while i did not care for their music remember when the dixie chicks came out against bush and how they were ripped to shreds by all the SUPER PATRIOTS out there. Remember how we as a country thanked the first responders from 9-11 by denying they were getting sick and dying due to what they inhaled during their time trying to save both Americans and foreigners caught in the towers at the time. How about how when bush said we were going to get those involved and then when it got to hard for him decided to go after someone who had nothing to do with it and not only invade the country but take it over and than ran the recovery rather poorly all while pi$$ing away billions. Or how about the de-regulation that led to the "too big to fail" scheme? How many right wingers at the time wanted the banks to survive but the car manufacturers to fail which would have led to the harder hit areas to be hit even worse? You mean that debt and that less LIBERTY??? I love liberty unfortunately you righties have a weird version of what it is to be free.

We know what the meaning of "is" is, and it didn't take a semen stained blue dress for us to figure out Clinton is a lying pig. You people still haven't figured it out, but keep projecting.

You are trying to hide the fact that you were 100% wrong by throwing out some weird reference to Clinton and that isnt going to fly in this forum.

Democrats didnt purge anyone, its that simply. Admit you were wrong and move on.

Is that the best you can come up with?

Do you think you can stay on topic?

Do you know what the word purge means?
