All the parents have to do is show up with a valid form of ID for themselves.
A matrĂcula is NOT a valid form of ID.
USCIS says the metricula is NOT a valid form of ID.
Even places in Mexico do not accept the metricula.
That is because a metricula can be issued with no proof submitted.
What will be interesting to see if the FedGov steps in here.
If the Fed says to accept it then that kinda throws all this DHS process for ID's to get thrown by the wayside.
Yet many institutions and states here have been accepting it because Mexico has lobbied cities and states throughout the US
The FedGov has turned a blind eye on this because over $20 billion flows out of US banks to Mexico every year.
Now the reason these Mexicans sued is because they cannot sign up for US welfare programs without that birth certificate.
