Don't really know how this is relevant. Swiss people live in SWITZERLAND. Swedish people live in SWEDEN.

The two are very far apart and very different. The only thing they really have in common is neutrality during WWII.

First, the link has been pretty well debunked so the initial argument is no longer valid.

Second, as it always happens, they all get lumped in together....

The countries that send the most immigrants to the United States are far more poor, like Mexico, China, India, Philippines, etc. -- where the average household income is 10% or less than that of the US.

This is what matters. We're importing poverty from around the world -- Sweden is not.
This is patently false. According to the Svenska Migrationsverket 64.5% of Swedish immigrants are from outside the EU. These immigrants come from Syria, Eritrea, Iraq, Pakistan, and Somalia, some of the poorest countries in the world.

Those EU immigrants come mostly from Poland, the Baltics, and the Balkans. All of those areas are significantly poorer than Sweden. And then a small percentage comes from Finland.

Keep grasping for straws, I guess.

Lumping them all together is simply ignorant. I'm sorry really no excuse. Someone who does not have the ability to differentiate between Sweden and Switzerland simply should not be discussing Swedish politics.

Furthermore, in the last elections the anti-immigration party only won 13% of the vote. The remaining 87% of the vote went to parties that support the asylum seekers from Vänsterpartiet to Moderata samlingspartiet.

A cursory glance at Swedish newspapers would tell you this, but I suppose you've been reading Swiss newspapers, instead. Though I get the feeling French or German isn't in your wheelhouse.

As is comparing a country of 10 million with one of 320 million especially when using bogus made up numbers.

Not really. Plenty of scalable metrics the vast majority of academics across various disciplines believe are valid tools from comparing OECD countries in areas such as governance and economic policy.

For example, you stated all of "these" countries are the same, yet Sweden has twice the population of Norway, and Germany has nearly 9 times the population of Sweden, yet, they are constantly compared. Theoretically, the US has only four times the population of Germany so yes comparisons can indeed be made.

The argument you are making is not only intellectually lazy, but debunked by the vast amount of academic literature on topics such as governance, gender equality, and economics. It would be less appropriate to compare India and the US for instance, than the US to Sweden, who are both representative democracies with private ownership structures, that have highly developed infrastructure and education systems, not to mention both have representative government systems.

COL is easily skewed. Stockholm is by far the most expensive part of Sweden and is comparable to New York. Similarly smaller towns such as Norrköping or Nyköping are comparable to smaller American cities and the rural north more comparable to sparsely populated areas in the US.

Is COL cheaper in Sweden than the US? Depends entirely upon where you live. Overall cost of living is difficult to determine for an entire country, but I would say Sweden is generally more expensive, though you get what you pay for.
