Hi, guys. I just looked at a pie chart of where my taxes go

and I realized that I paid about $20,000 in taxes this year but used less than half of services/protections/etc. that the government spending goes towards. Will the government refund me $10,000 this year?

Do your taxes like everyone else and see. You can do it online pretty quickly to see. I made over 110000 last year. Home, kids, wife realtor, college tuition. I barely scraped any back. I claim one all year..Everyones situation is different, taxes are 70 plus thousand pages...

You are using a government service right now, otherwise you wouldnt be able to post on this site.

You can also thank them for your cell phone being able to call customers who arent on the same network as yourself(keeping with the phone line services theme).

If taxes are compatible with the Constitution then it shouldn't be a problem.

Exactly. And what that chart is NOT showing you is that the Social Security/Medicare is a separately funded program that has a separate tax. So these charts are really BS when they do not divulge that info (and they never do.)

And i am pretty sure that this "baker" meant to write "Medicaid" not "Medicare" in the yellow. Strike two.

Soooo....

With that in mind, where is my refund for not having any kids? I don't use public schools, get no "mortgage deduction credit" or "dependent deductions." I'm also paying for a military that i would rather be cut in half and i don't need VA benefits.

Do you see how narcissistic and ridiculous my argument is? This is the same argument that the OP and others frequently make yet these people never look at the benefits/tax breaks they *are* getting that other people *are not.*

Yes, absolutely. Be sure to claim that tax credit along with your slave reparation credit.

Don't forget to put a cup of coffee on for the IRS agent coming over to give him an audit.
