A more successful company can afford to pay their employees more.

Have you ever been to them ? I have and prefer Costco. At Sam's many of the employees look like they just rolled out of bed and into work. Appearances DO mean something to customers.
I've been to a few Costcos: many of their employees kinda look like "granola eating hippies" but; they def have "clean cut" attitudes IMHO.

Any company that pays less than $15/h is still a joke.... Australias minimum wage is $17/h + everyone has full benefits!

You mean anyone whose skills aren't worth $15.00 an hour isn't worthy of a job. Shame on you.

Yeah, couple of things. 1)exchange rate 2)cost of living 3)taxation level

I love it when liberals throw out numbers and don't even understand them.

After exchange rate it's ~ $16/h still higher than us. Cost of living in NYC and SF is higher than any city in Australia.

How can a voluntary arrangement of employment be "slave labor"?

Umm, no it doesn't. Simple google searches...

Ausi minimum wage = 17.29
17.29 AUD to USD = 12.48

Another simple google search you should perform;
"cost of living in Australian" Everything is more expensive there. Ask an Ausi next time you see one. They likely moved here for better opportunities.

Again, it's hilarious when liberals shout numbers and have no idea what they actually mean.
