Look at the little tab on the bottom of the American flag that's flying on your front porch.

There are plenty of cards still made in the US (American Greetings is one). Probably not boxed sets though.

I refuse to pay $5.00 or more for a card. Knowing they are made in China I won't feel guilty for not going the Hallmark route.

The sad part is they are our enemy and we are just making them stronger.

I'm aware that most things, including clothes, sold in America are made in China. I was just surprised that Hallmark had outsourced. I thought its cards were all American-made. I assumed most or all of its non-card items were made in China.

Actually, I have a wool U.S. flag that was made in America. My dad, a WWII vet, gave it to me.

I agree, and that concept frightens me.

And by the way - some cards with the American Greetings brand are made in China.

Honestly, I'm shocked when I see something that wasn't made in China. I assume virtually everything is made in part or whole overseas or in another country.

Thanks NAFTA!

I have difficulty understanding why anyone would wish to express their affection or condolences with a piece of paper, wouldn't a hug be sufficient?
