business using the government for a lawsuit, or even interfering in one. This is unbelievable! It's not like it's the first time he's wasted government money, either. Remember when he used our money to establish an anti-Netanyahu campaign? Theres no telling what all he's used our money on in a frivolous manner. Before you Obama lovers say it, I know all presidents waste government money, but not defending someone just because of their religion. This is a very strange man. Oh, and the men knew they were going to be transporting beer before they accepted the job. Of course, if they hadn't been hired, they would be suing for discrimination because they're muslims. This is happening more and more because it's a win win if you're a muslim. If someone hires you, find something about the job you can't do because of your religion, and sue if you have to do it, or if they don't hire you, sue because they're being biased because of your religion.

The only lawsuit I ever remember a muslim losing is one in Dearborn, Michigan, when they attacked a man. It was all recorded, and witnessed, and I think they only gave him lawyer/court fees.

I can't believe theres anyone who really thinks Obama's doing a good job as president, anymore. I think everyone is slowly awakening from their brainwashed stupor he tried to put everyone in. But, if theres anyone who thinks he was correct in using government money to sue a trucking company on muslims behalf, please explain how you see it.

And, why are they so insistent that everyone respect their religion, when they don't even pretend to respect anyone elses?

Obama Sues Trucking Company For Requiring Muslim Drivers to Deliver Alcohol - Conservative Infidel

"That was the case recently for two Muslim truck drivers who claim to have felt that their religion precluded them from transporting alcohol. The trucking company didn’t force the issue, but they did make it clear that drivers are expected to take the loads they are assigned and informed them of where to park their rigs. That should have been the end of the story, with both parties free to act within their rights.
That wasn’t the end, though. We’ve entered into a new phase in America, the Totalitarianism of Tolerance, where race-baiters, homosexuals and Muslims are special and deserving of more rights than the common folk.
On behalf of the former drivers, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is suing Star Transportation for failing to accommodate the drivers who refused to do their jobs."

If a religious employee can be reasonably accommodated, they should be. That's well-established law.

The EEOC press release you cited says that after an investigation, the EEOC thought that the employer could have reasonably accommodated the employees, and brought suit.

To be clear, on a personal level, I oppose any religious person claiming special exemption from doing their job - such as the recent Kim Davis case. But the law says that if reasonable adjustments are possible, the employer legally must make those adjustments.

Would you be as overwrought if the drivers were, say, 7th Day Adventists who objected to carrying alcohol?

Jess5 - leave homosexuals out of it. Most of us are more anti muslim than you are, since WE are the people they try to kill. We don't want them here any more than you do.

I didn't write that. That's in the article I linked.
