US CONGRESS TO INVESTIGATE NOAA

Congress has filed a subpoena to investigate manipulation of global temperature data in a recent "study". In contrast to other areas of academics and science, both organizations have refused to release the methods of collection and the raw data to Congress.

Cults always attempt to hide facts and conceal inconsistencies with thier agenda. Science is open to any questioning and further investigation.

Whether it's the IRS, NOAA or any other organization, Democrats and Progressives support hiding the truth, lying, cheating anything to support the lies they like. It's sad they have this religious fervor to hide facts, honesty, truth, and scientific advancement. Very similar to some religious zealots of the 15th-17th century.

Don't investigate, eliminate both agencies. No congressional investigation has ever produced a meaningful outcome and the resultant grandstanding (at our expense) serves only as theater to give the impression they care.
How would anyones life be lessened without a NASA or NOAA?

The Federal Gov. is too big. They are over reaching and enforcing their will in all aspects of our lives for political gain like never before. They tell us it is for our own good and will lie through their teeth about it.

No wonder Carson and Trump are doing so well in the polls. People are sick of it.

What is troublesome is that there are still throngs of Hillary supporters despite her lies that keep piling up.

I guess people would rather hear lies as long as it is spun to them in a convenient way.

We're supposed to just trust Barack Obama. Don't you know that when he speaks, we're supposed to automatically believe he's right?

Barack said it's "settled science." We peons shall not challenge his superior intellect.

Yet another misuse of congressional authority, how did Lamar Smith get on the science committee? This is the person that wants to improve the National Science Foundations peer review process by injecting political considerations.

Strange that he didn't want any of th escientists records on the space shuttles, mars and jupiter missions but when it comes to research on climate change he disagrees with the outcome.

Quote:

“It is a disturbing trend for the legitimacy of this committee,” Johnson said in the letter to Smith. She linked the subpoena to previous requests by the committee’s Republican staff seeking information about NOAA’s climate researchers, which Johnson called “a serious misuse of Congressional oversight powers.” Noting that NOAA routinely publishes supporting data for its studies, Johnson said Smith had “not articulated a legitimate need for anything beyond what NOAA has already provided.”

Ah yes the endless search to prove that it isn't actually warming.

So now congress is going to get in the middle of how NOAA measures temperature and calibrates their instumentation, I think they are over matched. Their methods are already available on the website and Smith has already received information but it's never enough. Now he want's the email's of all the scientists (sounds familiar?)

He doesn't want them doing research on climate, go figure.

I fully agree, but the pubs are like an old dog with no teeth, or at least they play one on tv.
