Obama is an idiot. Let Putin take care of this please...he knows what he's doing. Our community organizer is clueless at best.

Worse. We're the Borg.

And Eisenhower did give the warning.
So we can't say we weren't told.

How does the forum feel about the prospect of American special forces
being put in harms way to protect terrorists ?

Did our soldiers join the military to become human shields protecting
the most disgusting killers on the planet ?

So far I see different human shields.
Allawi muslims - from the same branch of Islam as Assad himself.
The "moderate opposition" ( supported by the US) is caging them and intend to use them as a shield against the airstrikes of the Russians and advancing Syrian Army.

At least that's the information I see on Russian sites.
(Can't check on it, since I don't speak Arabic, sorry)))

You read a US site, you read Al Jazeera and then you read a Russian site and you'd think that 3 different wars are going on over there for 3 different reasons.

propaganda out the wazoo folks.

In the end though the US has no reason to be in the ME...NONE.

What started off as "The hunt for Bin Laden" over a decade ago has morphed into "But we have to give them their freedom" even though none of them asked for it.

For chrissakes we're talking about a WAR here... not just abstract 'forces' on a map. If history is any guide, FAR worse than this- worse than most of us can imagine- is going on right now as we troll the internet.

Do we REALLY expect people to play by the rules while being bombed from 50,000 feet??
I would use a nuke.

But I am not in charge.

heck we don't even play by the rules anymore.

Abu Ghraib for starters. And don't think people at the top didn't know and condone it.

It's a new low, even for Obama.

On the other hand, it won't make one iota's difference to Putin and where he decides to put his bombs.

It's not about "nasty things."
It's about "allies" of very questionable nature, that do those nasty things.

We shouldn't be there, period. It makes no difference who is posting the information.
