Apparently my sarcasm was not obvious in my original post.

For the record, I believe most cops are good people put in stressful situations, and do the best they can. The media, and a certain segment of the population don't trust cops. So what I am saying to them is, if cops are so bad and dangerous, why put yourself in these dangerous conditions.

If you don't want cops behaving badly, don't provoke them.
