Y'all, Norwegians Use The Word "Texas" As Slang To Mean "Crazy" - Texas Monthly

Why doesn't this surprise me?

They sure do love puttin folks to death down there, esp. people who were psychotic when they committed their crimes. They've got a man on death down there who has SZ so bad that he gouged one eye out, then another. Autoenucleation, a rare (but frequent enough) psychotic behavioral consequence of not receiving proper medical treatment.

USA...Still the greatest nation on earth though

For some reason I keep getting layovers in Dallas when I fly between L.A. and back East.

Don't know about crazy but "ugly" would be a good synonym.

Yuck.

SMELL-A has it's share of ugly. Especially if you count the homeless population.

Well if San Diego wasn't so boring our homeless would hang out down there.

You mean the same homeless people that you find everywhere else?

I would hardly call Dallas "ugly" compared to LA. They look about the same to me. I guess if one was into overweight Latino women, one would be in hog heaven in either city (pun intended).

It seems odd because these were once places known for attractive people many years ago. Now days, there are still beautiful people in these cities, but by average, attractive women up north and in the Midwest are more plentiful. Compared to cities like Denver or Minneapolis, neither LA or Dallas can compare on average.
