You are fooling yourself. Conservative agribusinesses and farmer owners routinely tell us how expensive our food will be if they actually have to pay market wages for American farm labor.

Yes EEA exists, but countries still have protectionist laws to protect it's people.
There is no law that requires firms to hire a domestic worker over another EEA worker.

There are about 300K foreign-born farm workers in America.

There are 10's of millions of immigrants.

At some point, leftists will realize all the welfare going to immigrants means they won't be getting any.

And the liberal ones don't? Farmers don't need American farm labor. They have the unlimited H-2A visas for "legal" foreign ag workers. This argument that our food prices will go up without illegal alien labor is nearly always made by the pro-illegals and they tend to vote Democrat.

If we let 11million people in, where are they going to work? We already have a large number of unemployed Americans that have given up. Everyone brings up systems like Denmark, but they have very controlled immigration because they realize the impact immigration has to wages.

Then, there are the X number of guest worker programs. It's like, why are we not training or paying well enough that our people are doing these jobs since we have so many unemployed citizens.

And, I'm tired of hearing "If you deport the illegals, big macs will be a billion dollars and the economy will collapse" <- kool-aid.

I mean, Denmark pays fast food workers $20/hour, gives then 40 hours per week, health care and family leave. Big Macs cost $0.8 more than in the US. The world isn't ending.

So what does immigration reform look like to you and why?
The lowest national tax rate in Denmark is 55.4%. VAT is 25%.

If a BK worker in Denmark is comfortable on what's left, they are likely single, childless and living with their parents.

You are the fool. Look Denmark pays it's workers $20/hour for 40hours/week, and gives healthcare and family leave. including at Mc Donald's. A Big Mac is $0.8 more expensive.

I said, we would offer them money to leave. We would offer them a LOT of money. That way, we wouldn't need to beef up jack. They would just leave on their own.

So for an extreme example, you wouldn't voluntarily and permanently leave the US for, idk, $1 million?
$200 million divided by 11 million is $18, not $18 million. Nice try.
