The dems want the return of Carter big- government. How is the continued expansion of federal government going to help America grow the GDP? How is Hillary running on her platform of Big Government? Surely she remembers Bill's 1996 state of the union speech.

Clinton only made that declaration AFTER New Gingrich and the "young Republicans" brought forth the Welfare Reform 3 times and then forced him to sign same whereupon he made that declaration, to make himself look good after this refusal to sign that legislation into law. He doesn't get the credit, Newt and the young Republicans do.
Then this unbelievably IMHO, idiotic, BO threw out the "after 5-years welfare checks quit and you have to go to work" section...illegally, Presidents cannot change laws passed by Congress...and we have a huge mess of continuing the generation-after-generation of welfare disaster.
This morning's news report government released unemployment number of about 5%...bogus! Doesn't count the other 20% or more per cent of those not working but passed the limit on unemployment benefits. What crap this government feeds...might not be a lie but sure in he!! is not the truth. Leaving out the "rest of the story" is a lie as far as I'm concerned.
