Even San Francisco has had enough in sanctuary cities and elected to not continue with the sheriff that gave them national news headlines.

San Francisco's Sanctuary City policy is still firmly in place.

We have to rely on the pathetic biased media to tell the story.....

As I understand it, the ousted Sheriff was a Democrat. From all accounts, the new Sheriff is a very Conservative Republican(Conservative for SF standards)

That cannot be true.

I dont see anything that says she( Vicki Hennessey ) is conservative or even a republican.

I also dont see anything that says she was elected because the current Sherriff supported sanctuary cities.

its more likely that the multiple scandals this guy was involved in was his down fall.

Yep, even in a city full of mixed nuts they can still recognize an idiot and do the right thing. It wasn't a great day for progressives across the country. Houston, SF, ...etc. Well, maybe not SF, because they'll just exchange one lunatic for another. SF will never elect a person even remotely resembling a conservative for anything.

When HuffPo splashes this all over the place:

Voters elected Republicans and rejected progressive ballot initiatives, including anti-discrimination and marijuana legalization measures.

Conservatives Have A Big Night In Local And State Elections

The only thing I disagreed with was the pot initiative should have passed, BUT, it is a states rights thing... and THAT is exactly how our system of government is supposed to work.

The fact that progressives keep referring to favoritism initiatives as "anti-discrimination" is mind boggling.

This is grossly misinformed and completely out of context. You just assumed he was ousted due to sanctuary policy without doing any research. A basic google search would have revealed to you that the SF sheriff was rocked by scandals BEFORE he even took the job, and was suspended by the mayor at one point. Even his own deputies turned against him.

He was toasted with or without the sanctuary thing. To characterizes this as sanctuary city pushback is just..... dumb and dishonest.

Scandal in San Francisco, the Mirkarimi saga - Debra J. Saunders

Why do conservatives keep doing this? As if you guys need to lie all the time in order to make your points.

It would have passed, had it not created a buddy-buddy Monopoly.

Only 10 farms they pick would be allowed.....

It should not have passed!!! Not how it was written.
