The thread is not about diversity. It is about a religious nut job who tried to take out many victims but failed.

Yes I know. That's why I owned the person that brought the ridiculous notion into the conversation.

Those are some stupid bomb squad "experts", then. Yes, C4 will also burn, just like petroleum jelly. Petroleum jelly doesn't *explode*, like C4 does though.

By that rational, pieces of hickory are also "poor man's C4", since you can light them afire and then throw them.

As a tangent, cotton balls dipped in petroleum jelly and stored in zip-loc bags make wonderful fire starter kits for camping/outdoors.

Coroner Finds UC Merced Stabbing Suspect’s Manifesto

Do we need to ban study groups now, since exclusion from them apparently causes some people to completely lose it?

You know what he should have done instead? Shown up with a "clock" in a case and claimed racism and "islamaphobia" was why he was kicked out of the study group. Then he may have scored all sorts of swag, tickets to the White House, sympathy and scholarships.
"was upset over being kicked out of a study group, and praised allah."
I'm sure they will find out more. I wouldn't be surprised if they found Subversive Islamist sites on his computer. If the government tries to cover and call it "work place violence" as they did with the Fort Hood killings or Alton Nolen, the recent Muslim convert who beheaded Colleen Hufford at Vaughn Foods I wouldn't be surprised.

Did I miss the part of the story where there was evidence to show this was religiously motivated?

Can someone send me a link, if so? Thanks.

Interesting coincidence but irrelevant based on the information we have on hand thus far:

"During the course of their investigation, they have found nothing in this person's history, personal belongings, electronic devices, or any other items to suggest anything other than this was an act of an individual for a vendetta," Warnke said.

"There is nothing to indicate that there is any political or religious motivation pertaining to what he did yesterday," Warnke said.

Allah is the Arab word for God. People praise God all the time.

[so what?]
