I don't think Starbucks had any meetings about how to upset sensitive right wingers with this new red cup design. Though I wonder, how many of these sensitive right wingers are still chugging their sugar filled drinks from Starbucks?

I know right! Who gives a crap, like cups are giving anyone their meaning of Christmas. Solve this, go to the market and buy a holiday cup and throw your coffee into it. There ya go! Solution!

Possibly, though I haven't been to a Chick Fil A in probably close to 20 years, I tried them before, didn't think they were that good, their chicken tasted funny.

As for Starbucks, I don't go there unless have to because I don't have access to better coffee.

Their coffee (straight not a mixed drink) is very bitter...no go there anymore.

One more sip than I've ever had.

This is mindnumbing and proves how deep the persecution complex among many conservative Christians goes. For them to latch onto something this trivial, it also shows how much they enjoy being outraged. Despite what is being spread around on social media, Starbucks still allows their employees to say Merry Christmas, they still sell Advent calendars, Christmas blend coffee, and Christmas greeting cards. The only thing they did is remove the Santas and the reindeer from the cups and have went with a sleek red design. Starbucks cups have never said "Merry Christmas."

How is that persecution? How is that a war on Christmas?

Plus, Starbucks is a secular, private company. Why should they have to bow to the Christian Right?
It's not conservatives who are outraged. It's dumbass Christians whack jobs who just need something to whine about. What a pathetic pity party.

Our businesses are just trying to stay neutral while everyone rips each others hair out over personal opinions. They wish everyone would just have a cup of coffee because they only care about your money, not your religions, gender, race, etc. etc. etc.

And I agree as a non religious fiscal conservative. Why bring politics into a cup of Joe?

Did the 17 year old say which side he was on? I didn't see that, are you assuming things or just making a observation? I see now capitalism is good.......

Starbucks is certainly one reason for overweight teens and adults, yet people find $7.00 a cup a great deal......some want the cup decorated at this price, let the consumer speak.

Their coffee is the real outrage. Peet's is way better.
