If you treat someone as if he's the Messiah, and he puts on airs that would be appropriate to a Messiah, then one need not actually say "Messiah."
You don't need to go far to find Obama's disciples. You can start with Chris Matthews at MSNBC. Editorials in the New York Times. Chants of Obama's name. Etc.
You can deny the obvious if you want. It is still obvious.
So you agree that this is a label that Obama opponents have hung on him, but not his supporters?
Thanks for confirming this.
You can be disingenuous if you want. Other people will still notice.
Oh, you're just wondering. That's perfectly reasonable.
On the off-chance that you don't actually know any college graduates in their fifties, most people stop bragging about their college transcripts around the time that they get their first job.
Obama ran for office based on his autobiography, his life story.
So many details given to us in his two books but -- how odd -- his school records hidden away from us.
But enjoy building your straw men and knocking them down.
I also find "the most brilliant of the affirmative action students" a strange formulation.
You're the one telling us that Obama got into Harvard based on affirmative action (something you have no proof of whatsoever). With the inference that Obama wouldn't have made it on his own merit. Because the students that apply to Harvard who might qualify for affirmative action aren't qualified. I'm pointing out that Harvard gets many more applicants than they accept, so students who might qualify for affirmative action would still be competing to get into the school and would be of the highest caliber. Because of the high caliber of the applicants and the number of applicants, Harvard doesn't have to accept any sub-standard students.

That's why they need affirmative action to get in.
It seems to me that Harvard should not be rejecting qualified students in favor of unqualified ones.
That is not what any serious school -- I mean serious about education and advancing knowledge -- would ever do.
Of course, this raises question: Do we have serious schools in this country anymore?
I would say not.
If the affirmative action applicants admitted to Harvard are so brilliant, then they should have no problem getting into most colleges and universities without affirmative action, without displacing more qualified candidates.
They would also enjoy the experience more, being with their equals.

He also ran on his political record, and on his political positions and proposals.
