As if 3 billion dollars a years isn't enough, Israel now wants to the U.S. To promise them 5 billion a year for the next decade in defense spending assistance.

Israel asks U.S. for $5 billion in annual defense aid - Washington Times

To that I say no. We have too many issues here that need to be addressed that can be greatly helped with that money. I have to get up 430 every morning for work and commute two to three hours a day after working a full day. I am sick and tired of my hard earned money being taken from me and helping the citizens of other countries instead of our own. Our citizens come first. Israel is a first world country and can provide on their own.

*#& that.. Why are they such a leach? Thought they were all that, guess not. You will be crucified if you don't put Isreal first. I wonder how many spies they have currently working in the USA? Nothing more ironic than Christian zionism.

It doesn't matter what you think.

They are Jewish so they will get whatever they want.

Move closer to work.

Let's cut all foreign aid. And the EITC and child tax credits.

Cut those and maybe people will care more about how much is being spent or should we say borrowed if they are actually feeling it every year with no thousands of dollars checks coming in.

This data is a little old, but it probably only got larger in 11 years. I would rather it all go to Israel than the others on the list.

Here are the top 16 recipients of U.S. foreign aid for 2004:

1. Iraq 18.44 Billion
2. Israel 2.62 Billion
3. Egypt 1.87 Billion
4. Afghanistan 1.77 Billion
5. Colombia 0.57 Billion
6. Jordan 0.56 Billion
7. Pakistan 0.39 Billion
8. Liberia 0.21 Billion
9. Peru 0.17 Billion
10. Ethiopia 0.16 Billion
11. Bolivia 0.15 Billion
12. Turkey 0.15 Billion
13. Uganda 0.14 Billion
14. Sudan 0.14 Billion
15. Indonesia 0.13 Billion
16. Kenya 0.13 Billion

I'd rather it all go towards fixing some of America's problems.

I'd rather it all go into my bank account.

That isn't going to happen, but it's as logical as giving it to Israel.

That would be nice.
My father taught me young that you can't buy friends. You can rent one, but then you get what you pay for. Israel may be our ally, but they are certainly no friend of ours. They cost us billions in tax dollars and even more in credibility. Our very biased approach to Israel has destroyed our credibility in the region.
