Many don't. Now, we can easily agree that they should, but they don't. Even if they do, many, many parents have an incredibly hard time seeing their children (particularly daughters) as sexual beings.
There's any number of examples in that vein - school lunches, for instance. Don't parents make sure their kids have a nutritious meal for school? Obviously, yes, they should. Many don't.
You can call me a leftie socialist, but I happen to think that we - as a society - have an obligation to pick up that slack, because while it's not the fault of the ignorant teenagers nor the hungry kids, they're the ones getting stuck with the outcome.

As for school lunches, being faced with a hungry kid is not a difficult moral dilemma: You feed the kid. And I don't give a fig for any clever rationale not to.

Most domestic violence cases end up with the man being arrested, regardless of who attacked who. I don't hear feminists protesting that.
Are feminists fighting for men and women to be drafted in equal numbers?
Are feminists fighting for men and women to split the bills on dates?
Are feminists protesting against night clubs that admit girls for free?
Are feminists fighting to make sure young women pay as much as young men for car insurance?
Are they fighting to equalize the life expectancy for men and women?
How about all these women-only scholarships? Even though women earn most of the degrees already.
We always here about breast cancer awareness. How about prostate cancer awareness? I never hear about that.
Are they fighting for all these guys that get falsely accused of rape?
Feminists are not for "equality". They are for whatever benefits them.
women who identify as a feminist has her own idea of what feminism stands for and what she will do to advance that idea. there is not a one size fits all. nor is there some mega multi complex group of feminist constantly recruiting women so we "tackle the problems men think feminism should be attacking"

One only has to look at the mess of the modern day family which is mostly broken, divided relationships between men and women, children growing up with single parents, marriages destroyed, and a whole host of other tragic realities to realize what feminism has done. Only a moron whose head is in the sand can't see this.

Feminism was conceived to empower women and create a sense of independence from men. Instead of relying on a husband for all of your needs, you could simply provide for yourself. It was not to replace dependence on men to dependence of government.
