Not sure if this is the right place to post this but here goes.

Full disclosure - I'm a Democrat and former smoker.

Paul Ryan has been complaining about having to detoxify his new office (which he took over from Boehner) of the smoke smell that permeates it. So one can only assume that Boehner was smoking in his office.

What I want to know is how was he legally able to smoke in a building that we, the taxpayers, pay for when NOBODY has been allowed to smoke in ANY public building for at least the last twenty years. Is it just another one of those things that politicians on the hill can get away with that the rest of us can't?

It's not about being a Republican or a Democrat, or being a smoker or non-smoker. It's about him doing something that put his colleagues in the office at risk while lighting up illegally over a period of many years.
Just kind of ticks me off.

Laws are for little people. Remember that next time you see a cop texting while driving or obama jetting overhead on air farce one to give a speech on green energy.

Boehner smoking and drinking in his office would not surprise me. Hearing him talk reminded me of the guy at the end of the bar who had too much to drink. He sounded like your garden variety drunk. And his loss of composure and crying over just about anything showed how fragile he was emotionally.

Republicans sure pick some dandies.

It was HIS office,do you really think someone was going to arrest him?Plenty of non-politicians can get away with this too.Plenty of bosses smoke, drink, and bang their secretaries in their offices without consequence.Doesn't really tick me off.People could still smoke in bars where I live until last year.It wouldn't bother me if they still could.I'm don't even smoke myself and think it will be a good thing when everyone else CHOOSES not to but i've noticed most of the biggest anti-smoking nazis out there are mostly former smokers who are now obsessed that some people still choose to continue in their habit.

Vehicle code exempts police while on duty.. It's how we answer your calls for service now.. Text.. Voice .. You get better service.. You contact us in a manner that convenient for you... You get service quicker we get better info
Department issues cellphones and they are used for communications.. Secure information exchange and sometimes work better than the mdt or radio

Now you know

Stop being a hater when you don't know what's going on

Smokers are disgusting.. Cigarettes..pot.. Anything .. Put an exhaust pipe in your mouth and suck.

I always thought boehner looked like a pickled lounge lizard
