"The Obama administration has released an updated welcome guide for new immigrants in the U.S. featuring detailed sections about obtaining public benefits including food stamps, welfare, and Obamacare. “You or members of your family may be eligible for other federal benefits, depending on your immigration status, length of time in the United States, and income level,” the guidebook reads. Titled the “Welcome to the United States: A Guide for New Immigrants” the publication is available in 14 languages: Arabic, English, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Somali, Spanish, Tagalog, Urdu, Vietnamese, and two varieties of Chinese."

'Welcome' Guide for New Immigrants Includes Public Benefits

Yeah, thanks for coming, here's how to bleed America dry. I thought we didn't encourage legal immigration for people who would be a burden to American taxpayers.

The Democrats have a simple strategy, dangle a carrot in front of every demographic, turn them into victims and earn their votes in return.

Let's not even get into the cost to schools for all of these English As A Second Language students.

In my school district, if English isn't your first language, you get free early-care in the mornings.

I always thought immigrants were required to bring the resources to support themselves or have a US sponsor who is responsible for taking care of them until they could support themselves so as to not impact social services they they have not contributed to. If these parasites qualified for nothing, they would all self-deport or be deported once they committed a crime.

Just another good reason to make English our official language. All federal documents would have to be printed in English only.

I don't know how much longer it will take, but someday Americans will finally
figure out that democracy is a scam.

There’s simply no way to allow less-educated workers into the country to fill low-wage jobs without creating enormous welfare costs for taxpayers. The only answer is to stop admitting so many poor immigrants. When you’re in a hole, stop digging.

It is also human nature to find scapegoat, when economy is not going good, the citizens will blame the new immigrants for "stealing" their jobs, it is again, human nature.

So the open door policy really is not helping the newcomers or anybody else. Time to change, create a system that will benefit everybody. Help the new immigrants to lead a more productive, dignified life is more productive.

I don't know of anyone who blames legal immigrants for stealing their jobs whether it be in good times or bad times. The only exception might be in the IT industry. Illegal aliens do though because they reduce wages and create unfair competition for American blue-collared workers.

The only other problem is H1B visa holders that also steal jobs: Do H-1B visas steal jobs from American workers? Keep in mind that this is an issue that Rubio has been called out for promoting, bringing in foreign workers to take our jobs.

And, both legal and illegal immigrants use welfare: Welfare Use by Legal and Illegal Immigrant Households | Center for Immigration Studies If there aren't jobs that pay enough so that the taxpayers don't have to support them, we need to limit legal immigration also.

The Medicaid handbook is available in several languages, I think it was 8 when I counted.
