Isn't this about two months early?

Seems much more appropriate for April 1st.

GOOD, this is in a better direction. Killing yourself by eating a lot of food is the same as consuming too much alcohol. -- It is bad for you either way.

When at a bar, a bartender does not give any more drinks if the drinker had ENOUGH.
Same with food.

Patron who is hefty: I'll have a triple whopper with cheese combo and super size it.
Clerk: Hmmm Sir please step on the scale to your left. How tall all you?
I am sorry sir but you are a fat boy and we by law are required to deny you a whopper. If you would like a salad no dressing and a cup of water we can serve you. Otherwise have a nice day.

This is pretty stupid. If someone is fat because they eat junk, they can still buy it from the store or make it themselves. And if someone mostly eats healthy food, but is fat because they overeat, they can still overeat at home. It would be a lot more effective to impose rations on overweight supermarket patrons or to require everyone within certain distances of their jobs to walk or bike to work. Like the proposed bill, these would both be heinous cases of government overstepping, but they would actually help reduce the obesity rate.

I think mississippi has the worst obesity rate in the country... so I'm sure they're wanting to tackle the problem.. but at what cost? sheesh... its no different than outlawing someone from selling drugs to an addict... if you wish to destroy your life with crack or food... everything in moderation.. and personal accountability is the only way to crack down on it... going after the supply chain is just getting rid of the thing itself.. and not addressing the addiction....

And then the patron punches the clerk

Thanks for knowing so much about so many people, Beliy. How about the 36 lbs I gained in 6 weeks when my thyroid ceased to function. I walk 10 miles per week, am active with diving and biking, eat healthy and am fat.

Gotta give it to judgmental people. Hope your body never betrays you.

Hmmmm. I like it. I think they should pass a law that says no service to a person in a restaurant that has:

a bad haircut (no self esteem - unhealthy)

unsightly facial blemishes (doesn't take care of themselves - unhealthy)

dirty fingernails (unhealthy)

bad breath (poor oral hygiene)

BO (doesn't bathe - unhealthy)

abnormally short (I'm 6'4'' - short people bug me)

I could go on and on to get my perfect world legislated.

How would you rule in the case of a 6' 9" person who was refused a job as a "short order cook"? Or an Armenian waiter fired from his job because he refused to "serve Turkey"? Or the known spousal abuser who placed an order for "black eyed peas"?.....
