Alternatively, we could send food and medical supplies to Syrian refugees and/or create a safe zone in Syria for them.

When that poem was posted up on the Statue of Liberty; it was still legal to discriminate against people because of their race, skin color or religion. Things change.
Have we taken care of 100% of our own poor, our own homeless, our own needy? No? Then we shouldn't be taken on any more. I believe that our own citizens need to come first.
Let's take care of the homeless vets, impoverished Blacks and Latinos, poor Whites in Appalachia, and third-world conditions on Native American reservations before importing a bunch of people with radical beliefs. In other words, NO WAY IN HELL do I want them here! SEND THEM BACK!!
