What is the sense of allowing immigration from countries like the muslim middle east and other countries that have long been full of turmoil and high crime levels?
If one must allow in more immigration despite the US being overpopulated, just take people from western countries, allies, and cultures that have demonstrated being peaceful and orderly.
"Progressives = soft on terrorism" is the topic of this thread. You're throwing a monkey wrench in it by calling them warmongers.
Pick a lane, please.
The left historically turns on the left: Brezhnev vs. Mao, Shining Path vs. MRTA, UNITA vs. MPLA, Vietnam vs. Democratic Kampuchea, Bloomberg vs. Occupy, Quan vs. Occupy,.... It's routine.
That's even after they wind them up and put them in there first to create havoc inside stable civilizations. Obama isn't targeting ISIS, his handlers' creation, just yet.

So is this what you wanted, liberals? All these deaths in France. All these crime waves hitting countries that let the "migrants" in?
You can spew all the baseless 'liberal this, liberal that' tripe you want. The fact remains, and I realize you exhibit little interest in fact, it wasn't a liberal who told us what a noble thing it was committing American blood and taxpayer $$$ fighting to bring a better life to the people of a Muslim country.

If they were honest, they would admit that they are fine with whitey "getting what he deserves."
Yeah, Obama got Bin Laden.
Then he allowed Libya, Iraq and Yemen to be taken over by terrorists; supported a Muslim Brotherhood dictator in Egypt, even giving him weapons; made a deal that gives Iran $150 billion to support terrorism, develop long range ballistic missiles and eventually acquire nuclear weapons; and now has proposed to accept up to 200,000 Muslim refugees that we can't properly vet -- after calling ISIS (which has said it will infiltrate the "refugees") "the JV team."
When a heroic Jordanian pilot was burned alive by ISIS, Obama said that Christians "shouldn't get on their high-horse."
When an American was beheaded by ISIS, Obama interrupted his golf game for five whole minutes, and then went back to finish it.
In the meantime, Obama has poked his nose into racial controversies -- always blaming whites even while admitting that he doesn't have all the facts.
He hasn't said a word in support of the police or against the rioters and looters in Ferguson and Baltimore.
Nor has he said a word about black children being murdered by other blacks in Chicago. Black lives only matter to him if a white police officer kills a black. And it doesn't matter if the officer was defending himself.
Then, of course, Obama has had the least transparent and most corrupt and lawless administration in the last 100 years. Obstructing lawful congressional oversight and obstructing justice at every turn. Issuing blatantly illegal executive orders that have thankfully been blocked by the courts.
With Obama as a leader, we don't need enemies. We have them right here in this country. They're called liberals and they're called Obama. They hate whites, especially males. They hate Christians. They hate people who work hard and are economically successful. They hate morals and traditional values. They hate Western Civilization. They love barbarism, criminality, corruption, theft, obscenity, and excuses for being irresponsible and evil.

Of course this is what they wanted. Their only primary reason for existence is for ultimate control. Anything that threatens the growth of Christianity is the game plan because they know that's the one thing they need to eradicate to gain control. They allowed illegal immigrants with completely different cultures and religions to come into European culture and completely rape the traditions and morals they have. They are raving wolves in sheep's clothing and this is the last we'll be seeing of their reign for a LONG time.
#1 Obreezey is bringing in 185,000 Syrians with ISIS trying to infiltrate the numbers, but Obama will ask them questions to see if they are terrorists - so no worries. Hillary supports this policy. Our Muslim population is growing even without this.
#2 French citizens can freely travel here. They are our ally.
I dont know what you are talking about. A liberal (Obama) got the worlds most wanted terrorist (Bin Laden) while conservatives (Bush and Cheney) were ok with Bin Laden running loose around the world.
It is amazing to me how often this nonsense is repeated. As if Obama had personally been piecing the intelligence together and commanding the strike team.
The CREDIT goes to our intelligence community and our special forces. The only credit Obama gets is giving the OK to proceed.

The truth is that getting bin Laden was the top counterterrorism objective for U.S. intelligence since well before the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks. This administration built on work pain*stakingly pursued for many years before Obama was elected — and without this work, Obama administration officials never would have been in a position to authorize the strike on Abbottabad, Pakistan, that resulted in bin Laden’s overdue death.

it is useful to remember that the trail to bin Laden started in a CIA black site — all of which Obama ordered closed, forever, on the second full day of his administration — and stemmed from information obtained from hardened terrorists who agreed to tell us some (but not all) of what they knew after undergoing harsh but legal interrogation methods. Obama banned those methods on Jan. 22, 2009.
A lot of people seem to be ignoring the real issue here. Terrorism is a result of groups who feel they have no other way to express a view. Yes, terrorism existed before extreme US interventionism, but it's impossible to deny that the problems have become worse, not better, since US involvement in the Middle East.
The way I see it, we have very few viable options. Of these options, I recommend shutting down our borders and completely pulling out of the Middle East. We can still defend our allies, like Israel and Turkey, but we should also want to get them to defend themselves. Another poster said it; ISIS is a result of US foreign policy, granted, they blamed it all on Bush, which isn't really the full story.
It's clear to me that pulling out will cause problems, but staying will make the problems worse. We've created an open sore, and we're letting it festers. We need to stick up this wound; it'll still be ugly, but it is, as far as I can tell, the best option all the same.
