According to a new Showtime documentary, President George W. Bush was warned about possible terrorist attacks earlier than originally thought.

CIA Documentary Sheds New Light On 9/11 Warning Signs

I always thought he didn't look so surprised when being told of the terror attacks, while reading to the class.

Jeb Bush touts his brother kept America safe, well, not safe enough for he didn't listen to the warnings through the chatter heard by CIA.

Yeah, he was warned about THAT threat and caboodles of others! Intelligence evaluation with regard to homeland security is not a perfect science.......did you see what just happened in Paris???

The Fedgov has a truly MASSIVE surveillance-network that parses millions of pieces of data every day. Eventually a human has to decide how credible one threat is, among many.....errors are made.

Bush had the look of someone that does not fall to pieces when given terrible news and get bent out of shape especially in the presence of children & cameras if you ask me.

What were you expecting?
A visual physiological breakdown?

The timing is suspect to me. Bush dropped the ball after receiving intel which resulted in 911. Obama/ Hillary dropped the ball after receiving intel, but because Bush also did Hillary and Obama rate a free pass?
No. I would expect our leadership to learn from past mistakes. I think we all have learned that the attempt to blame a youtube video was blatant deflection. If I'm not mistaken our allies evacuated their embassies before the attack. Many many requests for additional security were denied. We didn't even redeploy our carrier battle group to be in position to be of help before the event. We turned back help.
No the Obama admin and Hillary dropped the ball.

If you ask me, I think he looked like a deer in the headlights. The wheels in his head were frozen.

Or, he could have been thinking "Finally, I get a chance to finish daddy's war and get big, bad Saddam."

Too bad for us he wasn't as smart as his daddy.

before the US entered world war two, FDR was warned that the japanese would attack an american target somewhere in the pacific. however no one said where they would attack. same with 9/11, there was notice that a terror attack would likely happen, but no one said when or where it would happen.

so tell us, just what was bush supposed to do with a warning like that? if he shuts down the country, then the liberals complain that bush is being paranoid, or heavy handed, or he was fear mongering and trying to take more power than he was allowed. since bush waited, the liberals are claiming he wanted a reason to finish the gulf war, or other such garbage.

It's so funny how we all read our own interpretations into things. Bush looked to me like he was terrified and clueless as to what to do. He seemed barely able to keep it together in front of the kids. Not saying I'm right .. that's just what I see when I watch that clip. He doesn't look like someone who anticipated the attacks .. quite the opposite, he looks blindsided.
