What's the problem, anyway? The refugee situation is the biggest German political subject, the refugees probably understand German as well as you do - that is, I suspect, not well at all - and the president has an address to make.
While some people will debate the usefulness of using material in your target language with subtitles in your first language when you're attempting to learn a new language, it's something a lot of people try.
Even if it's not something used specifically for educational purposes, it's helpful for getting used to listening to your new language, and when you practice listening, you get a lot more out of it if you have some idea of what is being said. The best way to get good at a new language is to go for total immersion, and that's easier to do when you get a crutch, like native language subtitles, to help you out at the start.

Mama Merkel will ultimately destroy Germany with her retarded immigration policy. The germans are bending over backwards for the muslims already . How does letting a bunch of un-educated , poor people into your country benefit it at all? The amount of resources , and time will take decades. Then they will never assimilate. It doesn't make sense. There is a motive behind it all.
