Take a deep breath and don't let your xenophobic impulses overwhelm you. It's once incident perpetuated by a fringe group. If you really want to stem violence, ban fundamentalism. All fundamentalism; not just Islam.

I despise the conservatives who would give in to terrorists by giving them exactly what they want. What do you think a terrorist's objective is? To make us cower in fear of them. And most conservatives, it seems, are more than happy to do just that.

Have you heard that many Muslims are converting to Christianity in Germany (and probably other EU countries) in the hope that they get a better chance to stay? If we went on your premise, they would be crawling over each other to get to the alter. How would the government "prove" they are Christian? Would they be on the short-list vetting process?
