ISIS terrorists can be stopped at airports, can be stopped by police, could experience equipment failure etc and even if they do succeed, what's the most they can do? Kill a few hundred to about a thousand or so people.

What about that which can and will kill HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of people and may well throw our civilization back to the dark ages? Or at least, the dark ages of medicine?

In China, what has finally appeared? Bacteria that is immune to EVERY SINGLE ANTIBIOTIC. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.

And this is a general mutation that could hop into other strains of bacteria. Basically, in five years or so, we're going to see people in the prime of their lives dying from Pink-Eye and Salmonella.

And where is Washington on this? Where are the candidates? Where are the people flipping out and demanding action? Cue the crickets!

Scientists literally have to go back to the drawing board and come up with new antibiotics, and fast. This mutation is GUARANTEED to spread, and at best it may be delayed by a few years.

But by all means, continue to be terrified of the Syrian refugees, the Mexicans, the "evil 1%" or whatever else your favorite demagogues from either party are going on about. Ignore the real threat and remain the mindless pack of sheeple society has turned you into.

The pharmaceutical cos have actually stopped making antibiotics to fight bacteria. Honey is being monitored closely because China exports it sometime with an overabundance of antibiotics and you use it with your tea every day. You get sick. Can't help you, the antibiotics will be non effect. There's plenty of things to kill you/ people way too fearful and when it's your time to die you will anyhow. One thing about the USA. We are huge! If we were smaller we would see more deaths and not have a false sense of security.

I thought this was going to be about Hillary winning in 2016.

But yeah, that is potentially some scary crap. Time to close our borders to the Chinese too.

That won't help much. It's a mutation. The simpler the lifeform, the more mutations it has, which is why insects become immune to toxins faster then people, and why bacteria, the simplest lifeforms of them all, mutate so fast. It will happen sooner or later thanks to anti-biotics in livestock.

If only the cattle lobby wasn't so powerful we could have stopped them from putting antibiotics in livestock and creating eventual superbugs that have already survived antibiotics and hence the ones we use on humans are nothing to them.

In other words...

Forget Hillary (who I can't stand either) and forget Trump (who I also hate) there another person we need to be fearful of. He's a fellow by the name of Randall Flagg...

Wonderful. More great news.
Thanks for letting us know that even if we beat ISIS and Hillary we're still screwed.
I'm gonna go play a round of golf.

Nature's way of balance. China's population is too big. Now if only we can harness that in a weapon to send to ISIS, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, Oh, and Gaza too.

I already tried to post a thread about this...mods shut it down and said it didn't belong here. See my "Here it comes" thread down yonder. I guess we need 800 threads about refugees, and when something else is brought up it gets "moved" (who knows where to)
