It may not matter, as anyone vs Jimmy Carter was going to win, as carter's ineptitude regarding the Hostage Crisis is like our current clown with his handling of the "jv team".

12 months before the 80 election, Carter was a likely victor. 12 months later, he was political roadkill. Foreign policy dominated that period of time.

Carter wasn't a joke though. So you can't compare him to Trump and Carson who have become the clowns of the republican party. How do you think they would handle a crisis.

Carter was worse than a joke. I know you are young, but having seen decades of POTUS races, most often it is a referendum on the party in power, and like Carter, Obama has now placed security at the top of American minds. Not good .just as carter led directly to losses in not just 1980, but 1984, and 1988. Bill Clinton broke that largely by H being viewed unfavorably, and by BC running a DLC campaign.polar opposite to Carter and Obama's DNC liberal wing.

So Obama wants to bring in up to 10k Syrian Muslim "refugees" and his main focus his last year will be to take guns from Americans. Hmmmm, an un-armed country with a huge influx of Muslim "refugees". What could possibly go wrong? Sound familiar anyone?

If the grants and subsidies came out of Obama's checkbook, I could not care less. But that's not where those come from. They come from the tax dollars I pay, and I am sick to death of paying for politicians' pet agendas.

Obama should be impeached and then tried for treason, convicted, and imprisoned for life.

That would be justice.

In the meantime, he's the lamest of lame duck presidents.

And to think that we have to give him secret service protection for the rest of his life.

No doubt, he'll make his usual fatuous speeches, publish sub-literate ghost-written books, and set up a corrupt foundation that will make him even richer than the Clintons (who are worth $250 million.)

How do you get rich by being totally worthless and undeserving?

Be Barack Hussein Obama, Bill Clinton or Hillary Clinton -- that's how.

Okaaaaay... I'll bite.

Most liberals use the term 'gun control' to mean removing guns from the civilian populace.

So what is your definition of 'gun control?'

(Personally, my definition of gun control is a good stance, a firm two-handed grip and regulating your breathing while squeezing the trigger...)

They said that before Reagan was elected in a landslide.

And then reelected in a landslide.

Oh, how the liberals and left foamed at the mouth.

And then there was Nixon in 1968. He wasn't supposed to win either -- but won twice.
