What if you can carry a gun in the privacy of your own bedroom?

I guess terrorism isn't important anymore

Yep, that stuff just happens over there.

Obama is an apologist of Islamic terror, he has to find another tangent and avoid the real issue; the doctrine of Islam that calls for jihad and rewards jihadists with virgins in paradise.

Definitely a lot of change, not for the good either, and for sure not a lot of hope either. This country is that stupid that it will elect Hillary as it's next president.

If a terrorist is going to come to America they will fly on a plane with a tourist visa. It takes 2 years to be vetted as a refugee so that clearly is NOT the most efficient way to come to this country.

Considering there is a big problem with guns in this country then it seems prudent to tackle that issue. Like maybe not allowing people on terrorist watch list to buy guns. You can thank the NRA and their Republican lackeys for that one.

"moderate" Muslims need to be redefined. What exactly is "moderate" muslims?

I don't think Muslim community needs to take the "fear" so "personally", but think about it, The problem with Islam, it seems, is that there is a core belief among many of its followers that it cannot work with Western civilization. And that belief does not come from Western civilization itself, but rather, those who take their holy book literally.

By no means, am I suggesting ALL Muslims are bad, saying this is dishonesty. But to me, the moderate ones are the ones who are "less" Muslim.

Western civilization has, like it has with scores of other religions, tried to accommodate the belief systems of Islam. It seems, however, that Islam wants no part of it.

If there are, in fact, two factions of Islam, then it is time for followers of this religion to make a clear separation between the two, because right now it sure seems like it’s all one in the same.

It is getting scary. Popular restaurants and hotels have been identified as soft targets and attacked in Bali, Indonesia, Mumbai, India, Marrakech, and Morocco.

Movie theatres in Moscow and Mogadishu have been identified as soft targets and attacked.

Schools in Beslan (Russia) and Toulouse (France) have been identified as soft targets and attacked.

Have movie theaters and schools here in the USA also been identified and attacked? Of course, you know the answer to that question...

Jihadi extremists have even been able to identify a U.S. military installation as a soft target — Fort Hood (Texas) — and attacked the unsuspecting soldiers on base there.

what the hell

see this is the problem. If they want to come here, they can come here.

Same argument: If they want to get a gun, they can get a gun.

Banning the gun is not the solution. Restrict ALL immigrants, tourist, students visa from ALL muslim nations is the temporary solution. and NO, it is not going to have any negative impact.

Think about it, during ww2, this country did not allow Japanese or German immigrants. No student visa, no tourist visa. Why? Because U.S. was at war with these two nations, diplomatic relations were completely shut down. Should the Germans and the Japanese scream "discrimination" No. of course not

Diplomatic relationship, by definition, is a relationship between two countries in which they send diplomats to work in each other’s country. When there is conflict, what does the American embassy in that country do?

United States closes its embassy in conflict-hit Yemen. Why? Because there will be a conflict. This is really common sense stuff.

Sen Rand Paul said

In my hometown of Bowling Green, Kentucky, we had two Iraqi refugees who were let into our country who were plotting to buy stinger missiles a few years ago, but they got arrested and put in jail. But I think we’re doing the wrong thing by just having this open door policy to bring in people without significant scrutiny. I’m for increasing scrutiny on people who come on student visas from the 25 countries that have significant jihadism. Also, any kind of permanent visas or green cards, we need to be very careful. I don’t think we’re being careful enough with who we let in.

Rand Paul: Restrict Immigration from Muslim Nations

There are 25 predominantly Muslim countries that have significant jihadist movements and anti-American sentiment in their country. Restrict Immigration from Muslim Nations (all 25 of them), restrict student and tourist visa seems to be a temporary but good solution.

Or gee maybe just not allow people on the terrorist watch list in the country in the first place. You know, actually control our borders, something you can thank Obama and his democrat sycophants for NOT securing.

Maybe not allow people who swear allegiance to ISIS in the country, there would be at least 14 more living people in California today if your president did that.

Unfortunately, I think so!
