CNN is wrong.
Yesterday, Ash (suitable name for a maniac who wrote books about how nuclear war can be won
and believes in pre-emptive nuclear war)
Carter said to Senate that Iraq asked us to go.
Why would you believe the Iraqi Prime Minister ?
He's probably part of ISIS.

GTFO Completely. And I mean completely. Surely the creators of such a fine thing as Algebra can run a resource rich country right?

Look how well it turned out for Iraq when we withdrew the first time. Iraq wanted us out then and they want us out now. We are not welcomed there, thank goodness.

Why are there over 3,000 American soldiers disguised as "advisors" in Iraq?

Why is the US sending 50 SpecOps to Iraq? Supposedly they will be involved in raids and rescue and to find the leaders of terrorist groups, in particular ISIS. Wasn't it during a raid we lost an American serviceman? How do you conduct a raid without combat? How do you hope to capture a "leader" without combat?

If they don't want foreign troops there, so be it. They are actually doing US a favor. Obama should withdraw ALL our troops and close the door behind him. Don't open the door and throw money and weapons at them. Let them figure it out themselves.

This is actually the unpopular opinion that everyone is afraid to confront - our resources - namely money and people have not solved the problem of cells/Governments/states based on Radical Islam. This needs to be a ME problem first and foremost not a US/NATO/Russia problem except as backup. In addition we need to stop trying to pick leaders and let the chips fall where they may.

If we are attacked - we attack back, in force but that should not extended to occupation/state creation.
