Exactly, I have plans for going out to breakfast and seeing a movie later, and I plan on doing both regardless of any threats.....though the movie might not happen if I get too tired and need a nap later.

Good for you because you should have every freedom in the world to make your decision however you want to.

But this is not what the thread is all about. The thread is about "Should government announce it?"

No, I don't think the government needs to announce every warning.

I wonder why. I am not saying you are wrong.

My mall has announced every warning, and we got a lot of them in the past years. Maybe five in two years. one was real. better safe than sorry.

So every time your mall made an announcement, did you not go to the mall?

what's that suppose to mean? I will make the decision however I want to make the decision. It is the mall's damn responsibility to announce it. Don't you think?

Again, this thread is NOT about "how would you make the decision, what is your response?" this thread is about "Should government announce it."

I will still go to Germany and France, but after France's attack, Travel warning raised for France and Belgium. It is the government's responsibility to announce the threat.

No, I don't think it is the mall's responsible to announce any warning, it is their responsibility to alert the authorities and have every warning fully investigated to prevent anything from happening.

So no, it isn't a concern of mine for the government to announce warnings because all they do is fuel fear in people.

Here is why the government should not announce it.

"UPDATE: Anonymous Twitter account disavows earlier announcement about ISIS attack on Sunday.

*Update: The FBI says the plot to attack the wrestling event in Atlanta is not credible."

The government may choose not to induce mass hysteria based on unfounded stories. The GOP candidates are doing a good enough job of that.
