“When leaders who have a national platform whip up hate and hysteria against a particular group,” Ellison said, “particularly a minority religious group that is not popular — invariably, the people who are mentally unstable or motivated by hate come out of the woodwork and you see the desecration of buildings that are associated with that group, you see assaults, you see murders, you see things, things happen.”

Yeah - that sounds like the enemy we are facing.

I don't think it takes the ramblings of various politicians to make "mentally unstable" people do those things. I think their mental instability makes them do it.

If you're crazy, you're crazy. If you are so crazy that something on tv can set you off, maybe you need to be in a locked building being watched by professionals.

Trump is playing to his anti-Muslim constituency, what was the point of bringing up angry rhetoric regarding 9/11. If he is going to say dumb things he could at least be accurate.

Nobody can take you seriously when you say stuff like this.
I have seen the video, but it doesn't sound like you have.

And since when is a political rally that is open to the public "a private gathering"?

Specifically, what comment are you referring?

BTW, for full disclosure, I do NOT want Trump as POTUS, I am beginning to be alarmed that his poll numbers haven't dropped and I can't believe so many people are being duped by him.

I have seen the video, and I didn't seen anyone beating up the protester. I did see security trying to subdue the protester, and escorting him out. None of the security "beat him up". I did however see the protester throw a couple punches at people as he was being escorted out.

Also, I believe that it was a private rally, none the less, the rally was on private property, and security has a legal right to remove the protester for disrupting the rally.

I can believe Trumps poll number are remaining high, he's the only one running that people believe in. All the other candidates are career politicians that nobody trusts.

As far as people being duped, just look at all the people that were duped by Obama's Hope and Change. Lets face it, the average American isn't very bright if they believed the snake oil Obama was selling. Trump is showing us that the average Republican isn't much brighter than the average Democrat.

At least with Trump, it's believable that he wants to improve the country. All the other candidates are nothing more than servants of their corporate sponsors.

The Donald's rhetoric is designed to inflame hate and violence. These are the last resort of the frustrated that have to vent rage instead of improving their own condition themselves.

It's amazing how you missed him being punched and pummeled as he lay on the floor, or the punches that were thrown at him even as he was being escorted out by security. That's some selective sight you have there.

Donald is Ross Perot 2.0.

It's rhetoric designed to woo the typical Republican and divide right votes to ease the skids for Clinton... again.

Oh please. The Republican party needs to be broken up or completely disbanded, they are only in it for themselves as are the Dems. I'll vote for Trump in a heart beat even if he goes independent, unless Cruz gets the nomination. Any other R candidate is just another lying Establishment wannabe except Carson but he's not going anywhere. Anyway back to the topic, Ellison is a loudmouth Muslim Brotherhood operator. Who cares what he says.
