If the people who live there like it then it's no one else's business and if one or two don't like they can move back to where they came from.
Maybe they don't like it while they are from there. You make it sound as if the population of an entire city had one homogeneous mind and only outsiders disagree.
Reminds me of that odd idea that certain people should be stripped of their citizenship just because of this or that...
Indeed, Christmas is an ancient multi-cultural festivity dating back way before Jesus. Not to mention that the historical Jesus was actually born in the fall, not in late December...
Which is also why I don't mind Christmas, despite being an atheist. It is just another festivity, an interruption of the boring routine. I could not care less if we celebrated the Indian Diwali festivity instead. It doesn't matter because it is not about the fantasy content, but simply about the ritual.

I have never seen any of that as politically incorrect, however by the definition of politically incorrect, it would actually be so to say "Happy Holidays" in his eyes. Not sure why saying so even upsets people.

When it is someone's birthday do you refuse to say "happy birthday" to them just because it is not your birthday?
I like how people think they're special for doing what everyone else does because for some strange reason, they think they're the only people that do it.

Actually that makes it even more funny if it were to be vandalized because it would show how incompetent the sheriffs are.
