Why are you taking it personal. I didn't say a word about your ancestors owning a slave. You implied that mine did though.
As for them owning you and I and that other guy...that's a matter of perspective. I'm a free man as far as i'm concerned. If you aren't, then that's got nothing to do with me.
My ancestors were the first slave owners on this soil and I'm pretty sure they were not black.
It's kind of hard to get EBT when there're no "trailers" smaller than 5000 sq.ft. in the park where I live.
By the way, thank you for confirming that you're on government assistance.
Even though section 8 might get you a large 5,000 sq. ft. rental, home sizes aren't taken into consideration when the government doles out money for your food stamps. Aptitude is a key part of critical thinking.. hahaha
Am I on government assistance? Dude, my taxes might subsidize your way of living... LOL... Enough said...
Actually, my trailer is significantly larger. And I'm very proud about it, especially, because I was born into a very poor family. The first year of my life was in a room with 4 other souls. Yet, we never received or asked for other people's money. I worked hard and achieved a lot. A LOT! Try it. You might start respecting yourself.
Yes, p.260 Chapter 10
Where he talks about Johnson's lax control of the southern states and the full rights many southern states were giving freemen. Mainly full second amendment rights to keep and bear arms...
Evidently Grant thought black men should be enslaved by oppression and denied them their rights.
Many southern state constitutions rewritten under reconstitution, and reconstruction of the south, by carpetbaggers from the north, denied freeman their full civil rights. That remained until 1960's. 90 years later.

If you think Grant's ideas were conservative you should listen to what Lincoln had to say. If you haven't already you should read Forced into Glory. It's a good book...
They fought, because the US. Constitution was broken and they were pulling out of the contract that got them to enter the Union in the first place.
It wasn't what... It was how.
What(slavery) was going to slowly end anyway over time.
It took white men to free black men. Black men did not free black men.
Over time?
Over time was too long to wait.
LMAO @ "it took white men to free black men" Is that some sort of joke? That doesn't change the fact that white men were the participants in the American slave trade to begin with. Who else was supposed to end American slavery...Czechoslovakians?
I ain't dishing out brownie points for that ****! Black men shouldn't have been slaves here in the first place, so pardon my ingratitude. I don't dish out props to people for doing what they should've never been doing in the first place.

Look at the resentment and pure hatred it has created today.....
The government learned a lot from the Civil War. Below are some of the key points they learned:
Rednecks are all talk and they quit when the going gets tough
Civil rights are greater than state’s rights
A well-armed and trained militia can’t defeat a professional standing army
Amendments to the constitution become part of the constitution
A powerful federal government is needed to prevent something like the civil war from happening again…
Rednecks???? I guess you feel the same way for the Native Americans, they quit when the going gets tough.
Hell, you can say the same for the Africans brought here as slaves, they quit too!
yeah, we need a strong federal government because you called in sick the day your teacher taught history class on why our founding fathers wanted a limited federal government.
