South Park just did an episode where the progressive townsfolk run the police out of town saying they don't need them. Then homeless people invade the newly gentrified downtown after they get frightened out of the poor areas by who they assume to be ISIS converts. Of course the progressives then beg the police to come back and beat the homeless sup and drive them off. They also want them to kill the children they believe to be ISIS.
South Park is crude and vulgar but its also the best social and political satire you'll find anywhere.
They make the police the enemy and then complain when they prey on each other crime goes up. Then blame the police. They want a police state but don't want to live under one. Progressives are psychiatric cases.
