He fired the top cop. Ok so why isn't the prosecutor(s) who failed to charge the cop fired as well?

I'm still shocked that this event isn't getting traction.

WHERE are all the posters that were railing about Michael Brown etc?

This one is clear cut, there is a huge proven cover-up and you guys are giving it a pass?

Parts of it.

I mean 68% of the population lives in areas that have lower homicide rates than the national average. People always blanket the entire city based on the mess that's areas of the west and south sides.

Apparently the other 70% of the residents and their stable/nice neighborhoods are invisible. I mean I fully understand there are issues, big issues, but I really roll my eyes at comments people make about Chicago. It's so very doom and gloom. Deal with the problems and try to fix them, but a vast majority of the city is nowhere near "lost" or a "war zone".

Yeah, I don't get that, either. Something's not quite right about this...

" Should Rahm Emanuel Resign as Mayor of Chicago"
Apparently Rahm is equally hated by the Left and Right, Center, Dems, and Repubs??

?
How is the police officer, who was fired along with the police chief not already filing a wrongful termination lawsuit? The prosecutor has quickly decided there will be no charges filled. Where is the police union? When is their strike scheduled?

Why ANYBODY would apply for a $32k job working in a dangerous, non public supported, hostile work environment is beyond comprehension.

I don't see Rahm Surviving this, he did not have a reasonable explanation. The time for healing was over a year ago, this is the time for indictments.

I'm glad the protests were reasonable and did not digress into the usual.

He will survive it and not only that, if Hillary wins she gives him a prime spot in her administration.

Now Jesse Jackson is in Chicago....but not calling for Rahms resignation.

What we are witnessing first hand is the split between the mostly younger protesters and the "leadership" that long ago sold them out over politics.

But it's OK is what I keep hearing....because the Republicans aren't a viable choice.

WTH? Who said that they were? Everyone can decide for themselves whom to vote for but that doesn't make this kind of wholesale pay-off ok.

The fact that people like Al and Jesse will turn a blind eye to protect the bad apples in the democratic establishment is reprehensible. The offer of money\favors as a payoff is frankly evil and accepting those perks rather than rallying against the abuses like this one.
