But that's fine, don't carry or own a gun if you don't want to, but do not infringe on my right to do so. I like the odds much better carrying/owning a gun.

Also, your odds are no different than mine when it comes to carrying or not carrying a gun.....that is what false sense of security means, you think you have better odds than me just because you own a gun.

That should help you catch up with what a few people were talking about.
Think of it this way, airport TSA checkpoints aren't going to curb terrorism in air transportation, but it gives a false sense of security to those going to board a plane.
The security checkpoints are a false sense of security. The do nothing to prevent terrorism, but they do give TSA agents a right to rummage through your stuff for no reason.
Regarding some earlier posts, murder is a subset of homicide.
Homicide is person A taking person B's life. Sometimes it is lawful, as in judicial homicide (a court-ordered execution) or justifiable homicide (self defense).
The rest of the time it is unlawful, which we call murder.

Well I keep seeing reports now and then about all the stuff they collect and all the things they prevent.
Maybe, maybe not. I know I would support anything that worked regardless of who was proposing it.
So,you would support:
Ending the catch and release, for profit prison system we currently employ,
Forcing all illegal immigrants to register and leave the US within a reasonable amount of time,
Holding parents accountable for the actions of their precious little angel when he goes on a violent rampage,
Reintroducing firearms safety training into elementary, middle, and high schools?
All of those would help to curb violence. Would you support them?
