I seem to remember things that were said almost 8 years ago like "we will begin to heal" and "we will begin to come together as a country" once we got the right (or LEFT??) person in office.

WOW I thought, someone who is willing to work w/ both sides and GET STUFF DONE!! How cool is that??

How has it worked out so far? Seems to be MUCH worse now and everyone is fighting with each other.

I can't believe you actually believed that to begin with! What did we have to "heal" from? We WERE a "country".....

You didn't think President “Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won.” Obama was going to unite the country, did you?

Race relations seem to be worse than they have in the last three decades.

We are just as despised in the rest of the world as we were prior to his election.

The rich are increasing their wealth at a greater pace than all others.

Our workforce participation rate keeps decreasing.

Our debt continues to grow.

Bipartisanship has practically disappeared.

We continue to drop bombs in other countries.

Yeah, this worked out real well.

This is why people under 30, non-property owners, and non-taxpayers should never be allowed to vote. The first group is simply too stupid (by and large) and the second two have no skin in the game; most of them are takers.

Whether people want to get along with others is a personal choice.

This is the reason I am so scared of another 8 years of Democratic rule in DC , nothing will ever get done and we will turn into another 2nd (or maybe 3rd) world country.

And, obuma is the laughing stock of all leaders in the world. And, by association, so is our country

I'd be happy with a simple Voter ID Law to start with.

We are dividing, I guess you could call that falling apart.
