I see no problem with it. She stood for her principles. She created a lot of controversy. She garnered a lot of support and a lot of detractors. Since I think Time magazine is a worthless publication anyway, it doesn't really matter who they slap on the front cover in order to make a buck.

She did but I would think the POY would be someone that actually accomplished something. I do respect those who stand on principles, agree with them or not, but she accomplished nothing.
Yuck! There are so many more people so much more deserving. The guy I think deserves the Person of the Year award is a black man, a regular citizen of Ferguson who made a statement on TV as his town was being destroyed by paid "protesters" that all the people need there is an opportunity. Give them an opportunity (to succeed) and he will make it work.
To me, the candidate who comes closest to a plan that will help homeless vets and our black communities, the way Harris Rosen helped the little town of Tangelo, is the one who will get my vote. And that is not going to be Hillary Clinton. She could care less.
Ms. Davis would be thrilled. She certainly enjoyed her moment in the spotlight standing in front of her adoring fans. Second runner-up should be her fellow fundamentalist Josh Duggar.
With the award presented by a beaming Mike Huckabee who supported both of them.
Donald Trump, IMO. He's turned the political industry on its ear and has taken a bold new approach to how candidates present themselves. He's gone from business to entertainment to politics. I don't even like him, I've never liked him but he's at least not afraid to try something new and not just go for the status quo. People are sick of charlatans and frauds and corruption and stupidity in politics. Love, like or hate him, its about time we begin challenging our leaders and start electing people who will at least try to pull DC's head out of its kiester.
Don't agree with you on much Mr. Tea, but I do agree Trump's probably the best candidate for Person of the Year. He's been the person of most consequence, a reflection of the deeply stupid times we live in.

According to their own poling, it should be Bernie Sanders. They have enabled on-line voting for the 'honor' and Sanders is miles ahead of everybody. But then again, the main stream media wants to bury him, so I doubt he'll make it.
