He is doing this "Address the Nation" due to pressure from the Democratic Party and Democrats in Congress. Americans are very worried about Terrorism in the USA and the "ho-hum" attitude of TeamObama and "don't you dare to upset a Muslim or I will Prosecute!", litany from the US Attorney General - is not helpful at all. This is very damaging to all the Left Politically and so Obama has been tasked to "sooth the ruffled feathers" and convince everyone that we are "safe". He won't be successful, because he will hold to his Ideology of Gun Bans and ONLY the Leftists are interested in that.
What I think we will hear ......
He will tell us that he will keep us safe and not to worry - he will defeat ISIS, which he insists on calling ISIL because the Levant includes Israel (poke in the eye to them).
Words like "extremism / extremists" (although he will mention the word "terror" at least once), Lone-wolf (they are roaming all over the Nation, but he won't mention that) - "evolve", "defeat", "destroy", "unwavering" and of course the standard "let me be clear" & the insistence on telling us "who we are" - he will talk about our "values" and his "commitment". He will talk about his Might Collation, but not mention that they are doing zip under his Rules of Engagement. You can bet that he will talk about Gun Grabbing (or his version of it). The main point of his speech will to an attempt to convince us he will keep us "safe" and of course the "gun agenda" (he won't say anything at all about Pipe-Bomb/IED Control). Obama & the Leftists will never understand that Self Protection and the 2nd Amendment equate to "safe" and Freedom. Americans will always have a very healthy amount of skepticism about Politicians and their Motives/Personal Agenda.
I admit I have some concerns - IF it's wasn't for Bad Timing, Obama would have no Timing at All. It seems that every time he pontificates on ISIS - something really BAD happens shortly after. Often the next day.
"ISIL" is JV and we are not concerned ...... Beheadings begin, including American Beheadings.
"ISIL" is Contained ...... Attack on Paris with 138 slaughtered.
We are SAFE from "ISIL" ....... Attack on San Bernadino Christmas party - 14 slaughtered and 21 shot.

He has only given 2 of these Vital Oval Office Addresses in his 7 years in office. Both were in 2010. June 15, 2010 on the Horizon Oil Spill (which happened on April 20, 2010) and then on August 31, 2010 to announce he had ended all operations in Iraq and took his Victory Lap.

This is number 3 for Obama ...... many won't bother to watch. He has lost Credibility and the Trust of the American people and World Leaders.
Pay close attention to the Words - consider what NO FLY list is who controls it. TeamObama Controls it through Homeland Security and Jeh Johnson ...... who has been totally AWOL during this latest Terror Attack.
Terror List is different and not controlled Politically. Remember Lois Lerner and the IRS.
