Just a simple question:

How many of you thought immediately after 9/11 that we'd go 14 years (and counting) and that the worst terrorist attack in that time would have taken 14 lives. Not to minimize those lives, they are parents, children, husbands and wives.

Me personally: I guessed that we'd have a lot more problems than we did. I'll vote accordingly.

And this is not meant to be a partisan post. I've got my views, but I'll point out that those 14 years are 7 from Bush and 7 from Obama. I know better than to have high expectations, but it would be nice if we could avoid the partisan bickering and just discuss the question.

You forgot the terrorist Nidal Hasan who murdered 13 and injured 30+ others, the Boston bombers, the recruiting station attacks.

I figured it would be about the same. No more no less.

I'm glad there haven't been more.

I thought we would have sound immigration with walls and real background checks that took years before allowing people into this country ESPECIAL of the Islamic variety.
By the most gracious standards and studies 25% or MORE of the Muslim population are radicalized.

I noticed we are taking far more hits in this country under Obama than I thought we ever would under any President.

We seem to also have a little discussed issue it seems with second generation Muslims who are the first born here who listen to a lot of jihad garbage and carry a chip on their shoulders because they never saw why they left where they came from and don't always have the appreciation of the USA.
