That cop showed amazing restraint.....Right there at .28 you can see where the perp assaulted the officer and the officer still didn't kill him. Great officer!

No way he serves anywhere close to that. My guess is his sentence will be 1-5 years and he'll be released after serving 2 years or so.

Hopefully he'll do more but I doubt it.

It's sad to the point of humorous. Not this, this is just another shame, what I find funny is stereotypical good ol boy mentality of these cops. What's sad too today is as a kid you're taught about MLK, civil rights and how far w've come. When in reality what cops have been caught doing today looks very similar. As much as things change they stay the same.

So you think it's reasonable for a cop to "dare" a civilian to do something?

Would you ask that if roles were reversed, and the black man had the gun on the cop's forehead?

I AM NOT SAYING his actions are correct. But so many people don't understand the transfer of energy between police and people (particularly black folk). The only thing people can say is this is disgusting and unbecoming of a police officer. But do you even know what causes a black male to have to be told several times to get back in the car while having a glock to his forehead? Do you understand what is triggered when he is given loud verbal commands? Do you undertand the physiological reaction? Do you understand what happens to a police officer (subconsciousl) when met with this resistance? 99% of people don't. Nor can 99% go to anyone else's job that they have no idea about and be able to explain the work flow of the other person's office.

The internet is not the answer. Your job is to uncover all the underlying details from both the police and black communities and explain where this all comes from. You won't be able to because most don't have the "on the job" experience, life experience of an A-type personality that lives to protect others, the mindset of a black oppressed, nor the education of history/social behavior dynamics.

Things will never change in our life time.
