Excellent choice. Make sure the person most responsible for the destruction of Germany is properly acknowledged.

We'll never get media to tell us the truth as long as idiots believe their lies and agendas.

Thousands of Germans march against her every week.
Mainz! That's where I lived! It does not surprise me in the least that they had that type of rally there.

So they picked her as a joke, figuring she did an awful job. Like when Obama got the Nobel peace Prize. It's all for shock value.

It's not the first time Time has picked the person of the year to be someone who is ****ing things up in Germany...

Jokes aside, I can understand the decision. Putin would be the only other person I can think of. Trump is a joke; let's not make him out to be something bigger, and as much as I like Bernie, has he done enough to be considered person of the year? Not yet.

Merkel has been pretty important recently. Remember, Person of the Year does not mean 'best person of the year,' it's simply a notable person. Of course, who's the most influential person of the year is always subjective, but ultimately, it's just a honorary thing. Nothing to get upset about becasue you're favorite person, which for a shocking number of Americans is the pseudo-dictator in Russia.

Political correctness and cultural diversity rules! It will be ours and Germanys downfall. It is rewarded in todays world, and people like Trump are condemned. This idiotic movement will only grow.
